Cook the pasta in well-salted boiling water until al dente. Save a mug of pasta water before draining.

Meanwhile, season the chicken and sear in the olive oil over high heat until golden and cooked through.

Add garlic and cherry tomatoes to the pan and cook until the tomatoes start to burst.
