Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Bagel

A toasted wholemeal bagel with a lighter cream cheese and Greek yogurt spread, smoked salmon, capers, red onion and dill. Deli flavour, 30 g protein and only 8 g fat.

Method

    Soak the sliced red onion in cold water with a squeeze of lemon to take the edge off.

    Beat the cream cheese and Greek yogurt together with half the dill, a little lemon zest and black pepper.

    Split and toast the bagels until golden.

    Spread both halves with the cream cheese mix, then layer on cucumber, rocket and smoked salmon.

    Top with the drained onion, capers, remaining dill and a squeeze of lemon. Serve open or closed.

Substitutions
