Turkey Burger & Sweet Potato Wedges

A juicy lean turkey burger on a whole-wheat bun with crispy oven-baked sweet potato wedges. Burger night, macro-friendly.

Method

    Heat the oven to 220°C. Toss the wedges with the oil, paprika, half the garlic powder and salt, and roast on a lined tray.

    Mix the turkey with the remaining garlic powder, salt and pepper and shape two patties slightly wider than the buns.

    Cook the patties in a hot pan until the centre reaches 74°C.

    Stir the yogurt and sriracha into a quick burger sauce. Toast the buns.

    Build the burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion and sauce. Serve with the wedges.

Substitutions

  • Use lean beef (5% fat) for a classic burger (+3 g fat per serving).
